Celebrating Community and Coffee: The Inaugural Dripos Insiders Event in NYC

Last week, we hosted Dripos’ first-ever Insiders Event, held here at our New York City HQ. Bringing together passionate coffee shop owners from Texas to Pennsylvania, we opened the door for bigger conversations about the coffee community. People are at the core of the coffee community and it was clear to see that camaraderie in action. From sharing personal success stories to learning how Dripos can best support our clients, we hope to continue building with the industry through like-minded events.

Our founder, Jack Pawlik, with our panelists and coffee shop owners.

A warm welcome

Dripos Founder & CEO, Jack Pawlik welcomed our insiders by sharing not just updates about what’s new at the company but also casting our vision for partnership and growth. In his own words he noted, “We want Dripos to be the tech department of your business. You are unlocking an entire team doing everything we can do to help you grow.”

Meaningful conversations and one-on-one connections

One of the most rewarding parts of the day were the genuine conversations that unfolded. Shop owners had the chance to sit down with Dripos team leaders and explore their goals and visions for the future. Most importantly, they discussed how Dripos can be a partner in their success. The openness and honesty shared in these moments reaffirmed our purpose to be a true partner in independent coffee shop growth.

Insights from industry leaders: building sustainable coffee communities

After a much-needed lunch break, we hosted a panel featuring industry leaders including, Kaileigh Mulligan (East Cost Product Sales Specialist at Slayer Espresso), Jeremy Lyman (Co-founder of Birch Coffee), and Kyle Bellinger (Co-founder and CEO of Osito Coffee & Cacao). Their stories, advice and reflections inspired everyone to think about building businesses rooted in authenticity and genuine connection with people at the root. Our panelists provided insights on how the industry has shifted over the years, how hiring the key people can make or break your shop and how the coffee market has changed within the past year and how to respond to those changes.

Looking ahead

This inaugural event exceeded our expectations and reinforced Dripos’ commitment to supporting the coffee industry. We’re incredibly grateful to all the shop owners and panelists who traveled from near and far to be part of this experience. Check out our video re-capping this event here.

Thank you to all of our participants for being a part of this journey. Here’s to many more caffeine-fueled events and shared success! If you are a Dripos customer and are interested in joining the next Dripos Insiders Event, please reach out here.
